Fog in Syunik: Lars Closed, Situation on Roads

The Rescue Service informs that the roadways in the Republic of Armenia are mostly passable. The roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station in Aragatsotn Province to Kari Lake and Amberd Fortress are closed.

In the highland areas of Syunik, there is fog. Drivers are required to use winter tires exclusively.

Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Emergency Management Department and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations’ North Ossetia Crisis Management Center, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for all types of vehicles.
