There Are Unresolved Issues: Zakharova on Relations Between Armenia and Russia
Commenting on reports about an unspoken directive to activate ties with Russia in Armenia, Maria Zakharova, the official spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated that cooperation between the two countries has not ceased. She also recalled that the approaches of Moscow and Yerevan on most issues align or are close regarding the global agenda.
"There are also unresolved points that require regulation so as not to damage relations, and those issues are being discussed," she noted.
According to Zakharova, the leaders of Russia and Armenia maintain constant contact, and multilateral political dialogue continues. "But, of course, there are unresolved issues... We are discussing these issues and hope that solutions will be found," Zakharova said.
