Pension Increase Proposal Rejected
The proposal by the "Hayastan" faction regarding the increase of pensions in Armenia has been rejected. Thirty-two deputies voted in favor, while fifty-eight voted against, and one abstained.
It is noteworthy that according to the Ministry of Labor's calculations, the average pension in Armenia in 2025 is projected to be over 49,000 AMD, while the minimum consumption basket is estimated at 75,800 AMD.
