Deputy Foreign Minister is Clearly Lying: Mamijanyan

The leader of the 'I have honor' faction, Hayk Mamijanyan, writes:

“Today, during a briefing in the National Assembly, Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan made several claims that I will address in upcoming interviews, but one of them is so blatantly false that I decided to dedicate an entire post to it.

Mr. Hovhannisyan states that discussions are underway with the EU regarding a document that will purportedly mention, for the first time, the cooperation between Armenia and the EU in the field of security—another so-called 'unprecedented' occurrence.

Attached are excerpts related to security negotiated and signed during the Republican Party's rule regarding the CEPA. Moreover, in our document, cooperation in the area of security is presented in a separate manner through unique sections and articles addressing both external and internal security issues.
