If There is Peace at the Border, We Can Ease Restrictions on EU Observers
We have invited EU observers to the Armenia-Azerbaijan border as a factor of stability and peace, and if a peace agreement is signed, we may not need to impose any restrictions on the EU observers or reduce them significantly. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed this while addressing questions regarding EU observers.
“I have invited the EU observation mission and I thank them for responding to my invitation. We invited them as a factor of stability and peace. If a peace agreement is signed, we will have institutional peace and stability. Under those conditions, after the signing of the peace agreement, we can ease or reduce restrictions on EU observers,” the Prime Minister stated, noting that no decision has yet been made regarding the EU observers.
