Nothing good will come of this, Peskov

The Ukrainian conflict can only be resolved by addressing its root causes, and the deployment of NATO military contingents will create additional opportunities for escalation. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of Russia.

“It is an absolutely dangerous trend. This is what Europeans are talking about—the deployment of NATO forces on Ukrainian territory. We are saying that a viable resolution is only possible by considering and addressing the radical issues related to Ukraine. Meanwhile, they are preparing to create additional radical causes. What will come of this is nothing good,” Peskov noted.
