Iran is behind those attacks, Trump says
US President Donald Trump has stated that Iran is behind the Houthi attacks. The US leader suggested that in the event of new attacks, the US would not limit itself to striking the Yemeni rebels.
It is worth noting that the US had previously targeted an Israeli vessel that was seized by the Yemeni Houthi rebel movement in November 2023.
