The Peace Agreement Must Be Signed Now: Walts

The conflict in the South Caucasus needs to end, wrote Mike Walts, an advisor to former U.S. President Donald Trump, on social media platform X. He noted that this week he discussed the situation in the region with Hikmet Hajiyev, an advisor to the President of Azerbaijan.

“We are pleased that Azerbaijan and Armenia have made significant strides forward and have agreed on a peace treaty. I told him that we must finalize the signing of this peace agreement now, release the prisoners, and work together to make the region more secure and prosperous. America’s golden age will bring peace and prosperity to the world, and we will not stop working until that becomes a reality,” he wrote.
