Territorial Concessions for Guarantees: Walz

U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Walz confirmed that the rare earth metals deal, Ukraine's absence from NATO, and Kyiv's potential relinquishment of certain territories are part of the U.S. plan to resolve the military conflict in Ukraine. In exchange, security guarantees will be provided to Kyiv. He made these statements during an interview with ABC News.

In response to a journalist's clarifying question about whether Donbas would be surrendered to Russia, Walz replied, "...Are we going to drive every Russian off every inch of Ukrainian land, including Crimea? We can talk about what is right and what is wrong. And we also need to talk about the reality on the ground," said the presidential advisor. He added that he was shocked by the criticism of this position.

Furthermore, Walz stated that former U.S. President Joe Biden's policy is to support Ukraine "for as long as needed." He termed this approach an endless war "in an environment where we are literally losing hundreds of thousands of people every few months." Walz added that if this continues, it could lead to a third world war.
