The US Holds Cautious Optimism Regarding Ukraine, Says Mike Woltz

Washington expresses cautious optimism about the prospects for Ukrainian resolution. This statement was made by Mike Woltz, the National Security Advisor to the US President.

"I won't announce anything or conduct negotiations on television. Of course, without jumping ahead of the president, we do have cautious optimism," he said.

Woltz added that Trump's special envoy, Witkoff, who visited Moscow, will bring back information regarding the discussions for evaluation so that the US leader can decide on the next steps.
