Installation of Speed Cameras

The Main Department of Community Police informs that the lack of monitoring with photographic technical means for compliance with the established maximum traffic speed creates favorable conditions for many drivers to exceed the maximum speed limit, contributing to the emergence of accident situations.

According to Article 22 of the RA Law on Police, a photographic technical device has been installed on the section of the interstate M-6 road adjacent to the "Shirak" cemetery in the city of Gyumri, where the allowable traffic speed is 60 km/h.

The photographic technical device will be activated starting from March 17. The Ministry of Internal Affairs' police urges drivers to adhere to traffic rules.
