Azerbaijan Claims Armenia Caused $11 Billion in Material Damage

The former Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, raises concerns: "While the leader of the ruling party is busy with matters of withdrawing Armenia's international lawsuits against Azerbaijan and attempts to justify this illegal decision, Azerbaijan is currently calculating through its 'trials' that the material 'damage' allegedly caused by Armenia exceeds $11 billion. This includes claims for tens of thousands of units of property and hundreds of settlements for which they have calculated 'damages'. This fact alone demonstrates that the assertion that Azerbaijan's authorities are also renouncing international lawsuits or claims does not correspond to reality."
