John van't Schip Publishes List of Footballers Called Up to Armenia National Team

In anticipation of the UEFA Nations League 2024/2025 qualifying play-off matches between Armenia and Georgia, Armenia's national team head coach John van't Schip has published the list of players called up to the national team.

Commenting on his selection in an interview with the official HFF website, John van't Schip noted the following: "Initially, the number of called-up players was larger. Unfortunately, we will miss one of the team's key players, Eduard Spertsyan, due to injury. I spoke with Eduard, and he is very upset that he can't join the team and is eagerly awaiting the next gatherings. Hovhannes Harutyunyan and Norberto Balekyan are also injured. Yesterday, we learned that Andre Kalisi has sustained an injury, and he was also on our list. Lucas Selarayan will not join this gathering either due to family issues in Argentina. I know that Lucas is one of the most dedicated players on the national team, and we have granted his request to be with his family this time. Sargis Adamyan has informed that he no longer wishes to play for the national team, so he is not included in the call-up list. As for Khoren Bayramyan, while he is not invited this time, he will still be on our radar, and I do not rule out that he may receive a call-up to the national team later on."

The Armenia national team will hold a training camp at the HFF Technical Center/Football Academy starting from March 16. On March 20, they will host Georgia at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium in Yerevan, and on March 23, they will visit the Georgian team at the Dynamo Arena in Tbilisi.
