What Does the Document Signed by Armenia and the Netherlands Include?
During a joint press conference with Dutch Foreign Minister Kaspar Veldkamp, Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan announced that the document on strategic partnership between Armenia and the Kingdom of the Netherlands covers numerous areas. This includes strengthening political and economic ties, enhancing cooperation in infrastructure, and cybersecurity, particularly in the fight against hybrid threats and dangers. It aims to fortify democratic institutions and promote the rule of law and justice, as well as facilitate communication between people.
“I would like to highlight the provision that continuous efforts will be made towards establishing peace and stability in the South Caucasus, a peace based on the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity, non-use of force and threats of force, and the inviolability of internationally recognized borders,” Mirzoyan said.
He also emphasized that special attention is given to promoting regional and international trade and transport communications. It was noted that the "Peace Crossroad" could make a significant contribution in this area,” Mirzoyan stated.
