Turkish Media Representatives Arrive in Armenia Funded by State Budget

Turkish media representatives have arrived in Armenia at the initiative of the Armenian side and funded by the state budget to conduct interviews with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Gohar Tsarukyan, the director of the Public Relations and Information Center, stated this in a conversation with Tert.am.

He noted that ten Turkish media outlets have come to Armenia. “The initiative is ours; there were 10 media outlets involved. The goal is to present Armenia's approaches to establishing stable peace in the region and normalizing Turkey-Armenia relations as directly and thoroughly as possible to the wider Turkish public,” he mentioned.

According to Tsarukyan, the initiative was taken by the Public Relations and Information Center. They aimed to engage the most influential media, reached out to editorial offices, and sent appropriate journalists.

During their visit, media representatives have conducted interviews and discussions with the Prime Minister, several other officials, and representatives of the expert community. Both state and private media, as well as pro-government and opposition outlets, were invited.

“The Turkish media representatives have come here with state budget funds and will stay for three days; they will leave tomorrow,” he added.
