US President Donald Trump has stated that Vladimir Zelensky previously did not want peace, but has now agreed to it.

“There was one who seemed not to want peace,” Trump said to reporters at the White House, referring to Zelensky. “Now he has agreed to peace.”

The White House leader expressed hope that the Ukrainian conflict would be resolved after the establishment of a ceasefire. “We are all working to achieve that,” he said, “This is madness for nothing.”

Trump believes there is a chance to achieve a ceasefire.
