Ukraine and the USA Reach Agreement

Representatives of the USA and Ukraine have agreed during negotiations in Saudi Arabia to soon sign an agreement regarding the extraction of rare earth metals from Ukraine, Bloomberg reported on Tuesday.

"The USA and Ukraine have agreed to soon reach the signing of an agreement regarding natural resources," the agency notes.

The delegations from Washington and Kyiv held hours-long negotiations in Jeddah on Tuesday. It is reported that Ukraine has accepted the US proposal for an immediate 30-day ceasefire and has begun to prepare a negotiating team.

The US and Ukrainian delegations have agreed to determine the composition of their negotiating teams and to immediately begin discussions aimed at achieving sustainable peace. The United States has committed to discuss these specific proposals with Russian representatives.

According to Andrei Yermak, head of the Ukrainian president's office, the USA is resuming the provision of intelligence data and military assistance to Ukraine.
