Don't Rush to Look at US Actions with Rose-Colored Glasses, Peskov

Many are rushing to don rose-colored glasses regarding US actions, but in Russia, one must always be prepared to defend their own interests, stated Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president. According to RIA Novosti, he said, “Now is not the time to rush to wear rose-colored glasses. One should always hope for the best, but nonetheless be ready for the worst. We must always be prepared to defend our interests.”

He added, “Many are now rushing to put on rose-colored glasses, talking about how the Americans will stop supplying arms or have already done so, or that American entrepreneur Musk will now cut his communication systems, and everything will work out for us. Even without that, everything is working out for us.”
