Who Brought Him to Power: Pashinyan's Response

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on his Facebook page: “Two worn-out figures are arguing with their entourages about who brought me to power, demanding each other to tell the truth. You tell me who brought you to power—the electoral frauds who have never received the voice of the people of the Republic of Armenia.”

This post was followed by another one: “No one brought me to power. The 2018 People’s, non-violent, velvet revolution brought the People to power. I am merely the steward of the people's authority, and the People will replace me with another when they wish,” Pashinyan stated.

It is noteworthy that he made this response following a debate between former presidents Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan's associates. Recently, the teams of the second and third presidents have been addressing the topic of who 'brought Pashinyan to power.'
