Military Operation Concluded, Syrian Authorities Announce

The spokesperson of the Syrian Ministry of Defense, Hasan Abdel-Ghani, announced the conclusion of a "military operation" against supporters of Assad along the coastline. "We declare our forces' success, thanks to God, as well as the determination of our people, in achieving all objectives set at this stage," he stated.

He further noted that it was possible to repel the remaining attacks by Assad's supporters, preventing them from approaching vital centers and ensuring the security of most public roads they used as launch points for "attacks."

"Our forces have succeeded in neutralizing security cells and remnants of Assad's supporters in the regions of Al-Mukhtariya, Al-Mzerra, Az-Zobar, and other villages in Latakia province, as well as in the cities of Ad-Daliyah, Thanita, and Al-Qadmous in Tartus province. This has allowed us to prevent threats and secure the area," he added.
