Iran Seeks Negotiations Based on Mutual Respect: Peskov

The press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, has stated that Iran is seeking constructive negotiations based on mutual respect regarding the situation surrounding the nuclear dossier.

Previously, U.S. President Trump announced that he had sent a letter to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, expressing his preference for an agreement on the nuclear program rather than resolving the issue through military means.

On March 8, during a weekly meeting with representatives of the government, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei declared that Tehran would not negotiate with countries that solely serve their own interests.
