FFA: FFA Accuses HFF of Engaging in Dirty Tactics

The Armenian national team's supporters organization, the "Armenian First Front" (FFA), has issued a statement.

"The Football Federation of Armenia (HFF) is following a dirty path of major provocation, attempting to turn tickets available to fan movements for our national team's upcoming crucial match into items for trade or negotiation. Currently, the stadium ticket office reports that the fate of fan movement tickets is unknown.

This is in a context where, through communications with fans of the rival Georgian national team, it becomes clear that their fan movement has been allocated the entire guest section, about 900 seats, as well as an additional approximately 1500 seats adjacent to the guest section. Overall, there is a demand for several thousand tickets from Georgian supporters for the game in Yerevan, which will likely result in a significant presence of Georgian fans in every stand, many of whom will acquire tickets through the black market.

In other words, the stadium expects an unprecedented number of fans from the opposing team, resulting in predominantly Georgian fan chants being heard throughout the game. Our players will not feel as if they are playing in their home stadium, which is an unfortunate and undignified scenario.

By failing to provide tickets to fan movements, the HFF will cross all possible red lines, sacrificing the national team for yet another attempt to cling to their seats of power. Such behavior underscores their attitude towards the national team and the results of our representatives.

If the HFF decides to partially or fully release tickets for fan movement sections for free sale, all responsibility for the consequences of the game against Georgia will fall on the shoulders of the HFF leadership," the statement reads.
