Which Roads Are Closed

The Emergency Service has announced that there are closed roads within the territory of Armenia. The roads leading from the ‘Amberd’ high-mountain meteorological station to the Kari Lake and Amberd Fortress are closed in the Aragatsotn region.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires. According to information received from Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Federation's Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepanstminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
