Which Roads Are Closed

The Emergency Service informs that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of Armenia.

The roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to the Kary Lake and Amberd Fortress are closed in the Aragatsotn region. The Berd-Jambarak road is closed for all types of vehicles. The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks with trailers and difficult to navigate for other vehicles. Drivers must travel exclusively on winter tires.

Regarding Lars, according to information from the Emergency Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the North Ossetia of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
