There Was an Opportunity, but They Did Not Take It: Kellogg
The resumption of U.S. military aid to Ukraine depends on Kyiv's willingness to resolve the conflict and provide rare earth resources. This was stated by Keith Kellogg, special envoy of President Donald Trump.
According to him, Washington does not intend to completely halt military assistance to Kyiv. The discussion is solely about a pause. This pause will last until Ukraine agrees to supply resources to the U.S. within the framework of a deal.
“When we sign the agreement on rare metals, we had the opportunity to do so when I was in Ukraine, but they did not take it. Last week there was an opportunity to do this, and they did not take it,” Kellogg said.
