Immediate Ceasefire at Sea If Russia Agrees, Zelensky

The leader of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has spoken about the first steps toward resolving the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The politician conveyed this message on his page on the social media platform X.

"As part of the conflict resolution framework, Kyiv is ready to start by releasing prisoners and prohibiting missile strikes, long-range drones, as well as bombings of energy and other civilian infrastructure," said Zelensky.

He also expressed a willingness to sign an "immediate ceasefire at sea" if Russia agrees to these terms.
