4 People Killed on the Spot Due to Collision Between Mercedes and DAF: Ministry of Internal Affairs

On March 4, at 00:05, the crisis management center of the Lori regional rescue department received information that an accident had occurred on the Victory-Alaverdi highway, with fatalities reported, necessitating the assistance of rescue teams. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.

The operational group of the fire and rescue unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, along with one firefighting squad, was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that at approximately the 23rd kilometer of the Alaverdi-Noyemberyan highway, vehicles identified as a 'Mercedes-Benz' and a 'DAF' collided, resulting in the death of the driver of the 'Mercedes-Benz' and three passengers on the spot.

The rescuers retrieved the bodies of the driver and one passenger from the 'Mercedes-Benz'. The bodies of the other two passengers were found outside the vehicle; the rescuers brought them closer to the vehicle used for transporting the deceased.
