Zelensky and European Leaders Meet

The summit of European leaders on the issue of Ukraine has commenced in London, organized by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. According to Meduza, Starmer has called the current summit a "once-in-a-generation moment" for European security, adding that a good peaceful outcome for Ukraine is vital for all countries on the continent.

The summit is taking place at Lancaster House in central London, attended by the leaders of almost all European countries, including French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, as well as the leaders from Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Canada. Additionally, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte are also participating in the summit.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is also in attendance, having had a separate meeting with Keir Starmer the day before, following his visit after the dispute with US President Donald Trump.
