We Need to Be Prepared for That: NATO Secretary General

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that there is still no peace agreement regarding Ukraine, but it is necessary to prepare for a ceasefire. His remarks were quoted by The Guardian.

“We need to be prepared for that and ensure that European countries are ready to assist with security guarantees,” Rutte said.

He emphasized that European leaders have, in turn, expressed their willingness to increase defense spending.
