What Weather to Expect on the First Days of Spring

On the territory of the Republic, snow is expected in some regions during the night of March 1, the night of March 2, on the evening of March 3, and during the night of March 4. According to the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center, during the daytime on March 2, the night of March 3, and on March 5, weather without precipitation is anticipated.

The wind will be southwesterly at a speed of 2-5 m/s, with an expected wind intensification of 14-18 m/s on March 3, causing snowstorms and low horizontal visibility in mountainous areas.

The air temperature during the daytime on March 1 will decrease by 2-3 degrees, and by 4-6 degrees in Lori, Tavush, and Syunik, after which it will gradually rise by 4-6 degrees during the daytime hours across the entire Republic.

In Yerevan, light snow is also expected on the evenings of March 1 and 3, and during the night of March 4. Weather without precipitation is forecasted for March 2-3, the daytime of March 4, and March 5.

On the first day of spring, during the day in the capital, temperatures will be around 3-5 degrees, while in the evening, temperatures will register between -1 and -3 degrees.
