We Will Not Bow to Bandits: Pezeshkian
Negotiations with the US could resume if American authorities prove their negotiating capability. This was stated by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. According to him, a key condition for the Americans to engage in negotiations is that Iran does not possess weapons.
“We have a saying: first prove your kinship, then demand your inheritance. Some say that we have no option but to come to the negotiating table. However, we have not said that we will not negotiate. We simply will not bow to bandits,” said the Iranian president. Earlier, US President Donald Trump had stated that he would prefer to reach an agreement with Iran on nuclear issues rather than 'bomb it.'
