My Life is in Danger: Colombia's Vice President

Colombia's Vice President Francia Márquez has stated that she fears for her life. In a recent post on X, she expressed her concerns.

"Today, my life is in danger. If you speak about corruption and point out the flaws, you may face consequences. I have been attacked not with arguments, but with threats directed at me and my family. Loyalty is not in silence; loyalty is in warning when you are lost. My dedication to the people has not changed. When I talk about what is wrong with our government, I do not wish to destroy it," she wrote.

Márquez did not specify the source of these threats, but she criticized the current government.
