Trump Supports France and Britain's Proposed Plans
U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that Washington supports the proposals from France and Britain to send their peacekeepers to Ukraine.
"I know that Britain and France have said they want to send what are called peacekeepers to Ukraine, and I think that’s a good idea," he stated in front of reporters during his first cabinet meeting.
Trump emphasized that the U.S. will not take primary responsibility for ensuring Ukraine's security but will transfer that responsibility to Europe. "We are going to trust this to Europe, as Ukraine is their neighbor," added the White House leader.
