Hamas Prepares to Resume Fighting in Gaza
Edita
The Palestinian Hamas group is mobilizing its fighters in the Gaza Strip to resume military operations against Israel as the ceasefire deadline approaches this Saturday. This is reported by The Wall Street Journal.
“The armed wing of the group has appointed new commanders and started developing deployment plans for fighters in the event of a resumption of hostilities,” Arab officials connected to Hamas have stated, according to the newspaper.
Reports suggest that the group has begun restoring its network of underground tunnels damaged by Israel, preparing new fighters, and gathering explosives from unexploded munitions.
