Current Situation in Lars

The traffic on the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars highway, specifically the Gudauri-Kobi stretch, has been restored for light passenger and public transport vehicles. This was reported to Auroranews by Vahan Hakobyan, the customs attaché of the Armenian Embassy in Russia.

“Traffic in the specified section will operate smoothly, but only through the avalanche tunnels,” he noted. As of now, the road remains closed only for cargo vehicles.
