Traffic Situation on Roads in Armenia

The Rescue Service informs that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads within the territory of Armenia.

Closed roads include the routes from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to K'ari Lich and the Amberd Fortress in Aragatsotn region. The Berd-Jambarak road (due to blizzard) and the Tashir-K'atnarat road are closed for all types of vehicles, while the section known as "Zanger" from the Jermuk intersection is closed for trucks and trucks with trailers.

The Vardenyats Pass (M-10) is difficult to navigate for trucks with trailers under chain usage conditions, while the roads in the Syunik region are closed for all types of vehicles. There is black ice present in some areas of the roads in Aragatsotn, Gegharkunik, and Syunik regions.

There is a blizzard in the village of Khot. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed only for trucks.
