Thousands of Vehicles Stranded in Lars: Current Situation
The Traffic Organization Center of North Ossetia has reported that over 800 Armenian trucks are currently stranded at the "Upper Lars" checkpoint on the Russia-Georgia border.
The Gudauri-Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stepanstminda-Lars international highway has been closed since February 17 due to worsening weather conditions in Georgia.
As of the latest data, 3,094 vehicles are queued to cross the checkpoint, with 816 of them being Armenian.
