Roads Closed in Armenia

As of 16:30 today, the roads from the Jermuk intersection to Kapan are closed for vehicles with trailers. This was reported by the Road Department.

The Vardenyats Pass is passable with difficulty for vehicles with trailers.

There is black ice in some areas on the roads in the regions of Nairi, Ashotzk, Amasia, Akhuryan, Vanadzor, Sevan, Gavar, Tashir, Aparan, Aragats, Artik, Hrazdan, Sevan, Dilijan, Talin, Sisian, Goris, Kapan, and Spitak, as well as on the Martuni-Vardenis road section and in the Tigranashen bends.

Other interstate and republic significance roads are open. Road construction workers are carrying out cleaning and sand-salt treatment on the roads.
