Lavrov on Official Visit to Turkey

The Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has arrived in the Turkish capital for an official visit, reports RIA Novosti's correspondent.

A few days prior to his trip to Ankara, the minister was in South Africa, where he met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan as part of the G20 ministerial summit. They discussed, among other issues, the outcomes of consultations between Russia and the United States, as well as the negotiation processes concerning Ukraine and Syria.

Lavrov is expected to continue discussions on various aspects of the international situation, as well as bilateral relations.
