The Israeli army is ready to resume intense fighting in the Gaza Strip at any moment, with operational plans already in place. The final goal is the defeat of the Palestinian militant movement Hamas. This was announced by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu while addressing graduates of military training courses.

“We are ready to return to intense military operations at any moment; operational plans have already been developed,” he stated.

Netanyahu emphasized that the main objectives of operations in Gaza remain unchanged: the return of every hostage held there and the complete defeat of Hamas.

“Victory, victory, and only victory,” said the Israeli Prime Minister, noting that this can be achieved through negotiations, but also through other means.
