Current Situation on Roads in Armenia

As of 17:00 today, snow is falling in the Sisian and Goris regions. The roads from the junction of Jermuk to Kapan are closed to heavy and trailer vehicles. The Vardenyats pass is closed to vehicles with trailers, while other vehicles can pass with difficulty.

There are spots of black ice on the roads in the regions of Nairi, Ashotzk, Amasia, Vanadzor, Sevan, Gavarr, Tashir, Vardenis, Aparan, Aragats, Ashtarak, Ararat, Artik, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Sevan, Dilijan, and Talin, as well as on the Martuni-Vardenis section. The road from Jraberd to Fontan is impassable for all types of vehicles.

Other interstate and republican highways are open. Road construction teams are conducting cleaning and salting work on the highways.
