Attention: Road Closures and Difficult Conditions Reported by Ministry of Internal Affairs

The Rescue Service informs that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the Republic of Armenia.

The highways from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Karch Lake and Amberd Fortress are closed. The Tatev-Ltsen road is partially closed.

The stretch from the Jermuk crossroads to "Zanger" is closed for heavy vehicles and difficult for other types of transport.

The Vanadzor-Alaverdi and Vanadzor-Dilijan roads are difficult for heavy vehicles.

The Vardenyats Pass (due to snow) is closed for heavy vehicles with trailers and difficult for other types of transport.

In the Syunik region, roads are closed for heavy vehicles with trailers and difficult for all types of vehicles.

The Tigranashen serpentine is difficult for all types of transport.

The Dilijan serpentine (M-4, due to snow) is difficult for heavy vehicles with trailers.

In the Syunik region (except for the city of Meghri), snow is present in the cities of Ijevan, Noyemberyan, and Berd.

There is black ice on the roads in the Aragatsotn, Tavush, and Gegharkunik regions, as well as on the M-4 highway and the Dilijan and Tigranashen serpentine roads.

There is a snowstorm on the Fantan-Jraber highway. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

Regarding Lars: According to information received from the Emergency Management Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed for all types of vehicles.
