Snowfall Will Continue as Temperatures Drop Another 10 Degrees

On February 22-23, snowfall is expected across the republic, with blizzard conditions and low horizontal visibility in some mountainous regions. There will be black ice on the roads throughout the republic.

The air temperature will gradually drop by an additional 7-10 degrees, especially during the nighttime hours of February 22-24. In Yerevan, snow is expected on February 22-23, and light snow may occur after noon on the 25th.

On February 24, and during the night of the 25th and the 26th, dry weather is anticipated. In the regions on February 22-23, significant snowfall is expected in most areas, with blizzard conditions and low horizontal visibility in some mountainous areas. Light snow is expected in some regions on February 24-25 and during the night of the 26th.

The wind will be from the southwest at 3-6 m/s, increasing to 17-20 m/s on February 25, and 15-18 m/s on the 24th and 26th. The air temperature will gradually drop by another 7-10 degrees, especially during the nighttime hours of February 22-24.
