What is the Height of the Snow Cover in the Republic?

Due to a powerful cyclone, snow was recorded across the republic on the nights of February 20 and 21, with extremely heavy snowfall in some areas. Blizzards and low horizontal visibility were also observed. The roads in the republic were covered with black ice.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports the following precipitation levels:
- Shirak: 10-24mm, snow cover height: 22-40cm
- Gegharkunik: Precipitation - 10-40mm, snow cover height: 15-40cm
- Lori: Precipitation - 13-27mm, snow cover height: 30-36cm
- Tavush: Precipitation - 9-30mm, snow cover height: 30-45cm (Bagratashen - up to 5cm)
- In the low mountainous regions of Aragatsotn: Precipitation - 10-27mm, snow cover height: 50-70cm
- In the high mountainous regions of Aragatsotn: Precipitation - 10-27mm, snow cover height: 60-120cm
- In the pre-mountainous regions of Aragatsotn: Precipitation - 9-15mm, snow cover height: 5-12cm
- In the mountainous regions of Kotayk: Precipitation - 15-28mm, snow cover height: 40-70cm
- In the pre-mountainous regions of Kotayk: Precipitation - 20-50mm, snow cover height: 10-15cm
- In Ararat and Armavir: Precipitation - 14-17mm, snow cover height: 15-20cm
- In the mountainous regions of Vayots Dzor: Precipitation - 8-10mm, snow cover height: 40-60cm
- In the pre-mountainous regions of Vayots Dzor: Precipitation - 6-9mm, snow cover height: 8-10cm
- In the valleys of Syunik: Precipitation - 2-6mm, snow cover height: 1-4cm
- In the pre-mountainous regions of Syunik: Precipitation - 3-5mm, snow cover height: 4-6cm
- In Yerevan: Precipitation - 15mm, snow cover height: 15-18cm
In some areas, precipitation reached the monthly norm.
