Murder in Avan-Arinj: Who is the Deceased?

A person who was transferred to a medical center has died; criminal police have identified the perpetrator of the crime. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“On February 19 at 23:41, the operational management center of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs received a notification from a medical center that an unidentified individual with a 'gunshot wound' had been brought to them from the Avan-Arinj neighborhood, where a 'cardiac arrest' was recorded,” the report states.

A group from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Yerevan branch of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs was dispatched and found that the deceased was a resident of the Avan-Arinj neighborhood, 43-year-old Vahagn M. The identity of the individual who committed the crime has also been clarified.

Documents have been sent to the investigative department of the Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts. Measures are being taken to locate the person who committed the crime and the weapon used in the crime, and to present them to the investigative body,” the statement read.
