Four New Airlines to Operate in Georgia
This spring, four new airlines are entering the Georgian market. Specifically, as reported by aliq.ge, from the end of March, British Airways, Transavia France, easyJet, and Edelweiss will begin operations in the country.
British Airways will start flights on March 30. Regular direct flights from London to Tbilisi and back will be conducted four times a week. According to the information, these flights will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The average price for an economy class one-way ticket will be 114 euros (327 lari), while for business class, it will be 406 euros (1165 lari).
French airline Transavia France will commence direct flights from Georgia starting April 9. The airline will operate regular flights on the Paris-Tbilisi-Paris route twice a week. The average ticket price is 153 euros (439 lari).
In addition, Swiss airline Edelweiss will launch operations in the market starting April 12. They will conduct direct flights on the Tbilisi-Zurich-Tbilisi route twice a week. As for the ticket prices, the average one-way fare ranges from 190 euros to 450 euros (from 545 lari to 1291 lari).
