Sharp Drop in Temperature: Blizzard and Low Horizontal Visibility

Attention: From February 20-21, in some regions and in Yerevan, very strong blizzards and low horizontal visibility are expected in mountainous areas. Ice on the roads of the Republic is anticipated.

The air temperature is gradually expected to drop by 10-14 degrees both at night and during the day from February 20-22.

In the city of Yerevan, snow is forecasted from February 20-23, with very strong snow expected on February 20-21. On February 24, the weather is expected to be dry.

In the territory of the Republic, snow is anticipated in many regions on February 20-23, with very strong snow in some areas on February 20-21 and blizzards in mountainous regions along with low horizontal visibility.

The wind is expected to be southeast at 2-5 m/s, with gusts expected to increase to 20-25 m/s on February 19; on February 20-21, winds are expected at a speed of 15-18 m/s.

The air temperature will gradually decrease by 10-14 degrees both at night and during the day from February 20-22.
