Calls in Duma to Initiate Criminal Case Against Gorbachev's Granddaughters
Calls have been made in the State Duma of Russia to initiate a criminal case against the granddaughters of former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev. According to State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov, "these exiles have lived their entire lives in luxury at the expense of the people, and then they fled." He stated that all their assets in the Russian Federation should be seized and believes that they should be recognized as foreign agents.
It is noted that 45-year-old Ksenia Gorbacheva and 37-year-old Anastasia Virganskaya have long been residing in Germany. The great-granddaughter is engaged in winemaking, and since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, she has directed her proceeds from the sale of alcohol to support Ukraine.
