Current Situation on Armenia's Roads

The Emergency Situations Service reports that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia.

The roads leading from the high mountainous meteorological station "Amberd" in Aragatsotn province to Kar lake and Amberd Fortress are closed.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia’s Emergency Management Agency and the Crisis Management Center of Russia's North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
