Woman Fills Acid on Friend in Lchashen: Details
On the night of February 12, a citizen called the National Police's operational management center reporting that someone was dying in one of the buildings in the village of Lchashen, Gegharkunik Province, and requested police to approach.
The responding officers assessed the condition of the injured young man and called in an ambulance. Meanwhile, as the young man was being transported to the "Sevan" medical center, a 51-year-old woman from Lchashen informed the police that a dispute had arisen between her and her foreign friend over personal matters, during which he had struck her with his hands and feet. Following this, she took a container full of sulfuric acid from a storage room in the corridor and poured it over him.
The hospital reported that the 24-year-old foreigner had died without regaining consciousness. The 51-year-old woman and the compiled documents have been submitted to the Sevan investigative department.
